Statement of Faith

 

1. The Holy Bible

 

The Holy Bible which is the perfect, unique, infallible, authoritative and divinely inspired written word of God and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

 

2. Existent of God

 

In one God eternally existent in three persons: namely, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

 

3. Jesus Christ

 

In the deity of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His teachings and miracles, His vicarious death and His atonement through his blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His present intercession for us as a mediator in the right hand side of the Father and His personal imminent return in power and glory. and He is the only way of salvation to mankind.

 

4. Rapture of the Church

 

In the blessed hope-the rapture of the Church at Christ's coming.

The universal sinfulness and guilt of human nature since the fall, rendering humanity subject to God's wrath and condemnation.

 

5. Sinfulness and Guilt of human

 

Redemption from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, The salvation of lost and sinful men through regeneration by the Holy Spirit. Salvation is by grace through faith.

 

6. Godly life

 

The baptism, indwelling and the work of the Holy Spirit in the believer, enabling the Christian to live a godly life.

 

7. Church

 

The one Holy Universal Church, which is the Body of Christ, and to which all true believers belong.

 

8. Biblical Discipleship

 

We believe in New Testament soul- winning. Our responsibility for world evangelisation and in biblical discipleship. We believe that, we are saved to save.

 

9. Baptism

 

In water baptism ; all who repent should be baptised in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

 

10. Resurrection

 

The resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the everlasting life, and those who are lost unto the everlasting damnation.
